Drill Template for Ford
Exhaust
This template allows the technician
to remove broken exhaust bolts
from the head. The tool is designed
to work on the 4.6L, 5.4L 2 valve and
the 6.8L V10 Ford engines. Attaches to cylinder head and aligns with the bolt pattern to extract broken bolts out.

head. Tapered bolts
center the base plate
over bolt holes and slip fit bushing allows you to move from hole to hole without moving base plate. Drill depth gauge to make sure water jacket is not pierced. The screw extractor is then used to remove the broken bolt. Includes bushing to drill to tap size when extractor cannot be used.

Designed to remove
broken exhaust
manifold studs on
Ford 6.4L & 6.7L
diesel motors. Use
the tampered screws
to center the base
plate over the bolt holes. The slip fit bushing allows you to move from hole to hole without moving the base plate. The kit comes with four 1/8" bits, two 3/16" bits and one 17/64" bit. Provides the flexibility to use an extractor bit or continue to drill the broken bolt all the way out. A tap aligning block provides assistance to chase the threads with a tap. There is a separate depth gauge to set the drill bit length included.
