For longer tool life and safe operation, clean and lubricate tools periodically.
Wear safety goggles while using power tools.
Wear safety goggles while working with pressurized systems. Read operating instructions thoroughly on tools and equipment before use.
AIR CONDITIONING/COOLING SYSTEMS
It is important to note that R-12 and R-134a refrigerants can not be mixed, because the PAG oil in R-134a is not compatible with R-12.
This has required the automotive industry to use special fittings to prevent cross-contamination between the two types of systems, or in some cases, dedicated service equipment for each refrigerant. Please use extreme caution when servicing air conditioning systems for proper refrigerant use.
Wear safety goggles, shield and protective clothing when working with refrigerant equipment and systems.
AIR COMPRESSORS
Do not use air from compressor as a breathing supply.
Relieve pressure before servicing.
Do not modify/repair/rework pressure vessel or change safety relief pressure setting.
Do not use without all guards in place.
High voltage will create an electrical shock; disconnect all power before servicing.

Use only for striking sheet metal; do not strike hard surfaces. Do not strike dolly block with a hammer or use as a hammer. Dolly block can chip; flying chips can cause injury.
Riveting and nut setting tools can cause flying chips.
BRAKE SERVICE
Read operating instructions and Material Safety Data sheets thoroughly.
Never pour other chemicals or substances into the brake washer.
Never use brake washers as a catchall for disposing of chemicals or solvents.
Always wet the shoes and inside of the drum thoroughly before removing or striking the drum with a hammer.
Always maintain the minimum requirement of solution in the tank.
Never use the brush to clean brakes which will not be replaced since the brush may have grease or oil on it. Use the injector nozzle for washing brakes during brake inspection.
DIAGNOSTIC
Working with batteries can be hazardous.
Sparks can occur when connecting or disconnecting leads.
Keep flames and sparks away from batteries.
Grounding prong on electrical accessories should never be bypassed so as to engage the plug in a non-grounding type receptacle, as doing so could result in electrical shock. Read all instructions thoroughly before using testers and equipment.
ENGINE EQUIPMENT
Use only in well ventilated areas.
Do not expose gasoline, solvents, etc. to flames, sparks or other sources of ignition.
Pressurized systems can leak.
Flammable liquid and fumes can ignite.
